The Whitey Tape

A few weeks ago there was talk of a tape recording of Michelle Obama speaking at Trinity Church in Chicago (Rev. Wright). The tape was significant because she used the expression "whitey" to refer to those of lighter skin color. Thus far the tape has not surfaced. Someone may be saving it for a more opportune time.

Whether the tape exists or not is not really the important issue. If you look at the things Michelle Obama has said in public, you know that she would use the term "whitey" without a second thought. Especially in her church would she feel quite comnfortable doing so. As a matter of fact, it would almost be expected of her.

Hopefully the tape will surface. It most likely does exist.
