1 cup of butter,
2 cups of sugar,
cup of milk, 2 eggs beaten,
1 teaspoon of baking soda,
3 1/2 cups of flour,
2 cups of raisins,
3 cups of dried apples,
2 cups of molasses.
Soak the apples overnight. Chop finely and stew the molasses. Beat butter and sugar to cream. Add baking soda and milk and stir. Blend in eggs and flour. Then stir and raisins and apples. Pour into pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
1 cup of sugar,

Sift 2 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1~ teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg. Add sifted ingredients to sugar and egg mixture. Stir well and add prunes. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes

3/4/ cup vegetable oil,
1/2 cup water. Beat above Ingredients.
Then mix in: 2 1/2 cups flour,
1/4 teaspoon salt,
2 1/2 cups sugar,
1 1/3 teaspoons of baking soda,
1 1/2 cups of sugar,
1/2 cup of butter,
2 cups of eggs,
2 cups of flour,
1/2 cup of cocoa,
1/2 teaspoon of salt,
1 teaspoon of baking soda,
1/4 cup of buttermilk,
1/2 cup of hot water, 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
