More thoughts on racism.

This is my second post today - more thoughts on racism.

Jeanne made an observation about racism that was very interesting.

My thought is that it is about one's experience with other races.

A story on racism.

In many was there is some humour in this story - but it has a serious side. I was inspired to write it following discussions here on racism. (Note - I often get inspired by other stories on BE)

Black Rose Dying

Black rose dying, turning into dust
Life finished trying, lost all the trust
Black rose dying, leave this state now
State of pain, wasn't meant to be this way

I saw you sinking to hell, so I gave you a hand

Geraldine Ferraro's Problem

New evidence seems to indicate that Geraldine Ferraro's problem is the color of her skin, and that color is white. You might remember a few weeks ago that Geraldine was asked to resign from Hillary Clinton's campaign staff over a comment she had made. Her offending comment indicated that the color of B. Hussein Obama's skin is directly related to his success in the campaign.

Who's the Monkey?

This must be a politically correct remedy to an otherwise insignificant issue. Maybe you can figure it out.

This is the series of events:

Linda, a trustee in a Chicago suburb and a delegate for democrat Senator Barack Hussein Obama sees two children (black, boys) playing in a tree next door to her home. She also sees that the parents are outside supervising the children.

Shiney Black Shoes

I remember once upon a time how children wore black leather lace up shoes to school, and how our parents used to get us to put a layer of boot polish on the shoes and how we would polish the leather until we could almost see our faces reflected back from the shiney surface.
