If you need a good laugh, you should listen to Obama Hussein. In his effort to promote the liberal democrat agenda he says the stupidest things. One of the most recent statements came about as he was communicating his energy plan. His statement was to the effect that if Americans would inflate their tires to the correct air pressure and get their cars tuned-up, that we would save more oil than we would gain by drilling.

Obama is sticking with this statement, especially since the liberal media are working overtime to repeat the same message and convince the populace that Obama was correct.

Unless you drive a pretty old vehicle, it no longer needs a tune-up. The built-in electronics manage that. The other assumption in Obama's argument is that essentially all Americans are driving with their tires under-inflated. Stupid people. Proper inflation of tires has been recommended for many years, but apparently the stupid Americans still don't get it. Who shall set the masses free from their ignorance?

As the liberals are trying to beef up Obama's fantasy, they have now come up with a figure: we could save 800,000 barrels of oil per day with the mere use of a tire pressure gauge.

For comparison, the U.S. imports about 10 million barrels of oil per day, so that is almost 10% of the daily oil consumption.

If Obama continues to show us who he is, he may end up as V.P. serving under Paris Hilton.
