Happy house-sitter...

Here's a story that Elly would appreciate. Its an email story from Reader's Digest.

Loren Sirl wrote that having read a recent story in dismay about somebody who had bad experiences,"Who's minding the House?" in the July issue, she stated she had house sat in many homes during the last seven years and had nothing but good experiences: wonderful homes and fantastic homeowners who had left her plenty of good food.

She said also that she had been privileged to have seen different parts of Australasia(Aussie and NZ)without paying hefty accomadation costs and had always had the use of a car. Lucky her!

Perhaps Elly could relate her experiences in "house sitting".

Oh, yes

I have always had good experiences

as a house sitter, although there is one place I will never go back to. I'll write a post about it.

It always pays to do good research before you house sit, and taking on a long term contract unless you are very comfortable with the house, it's owners, it's rules and its animals is not a good idea.
